Design Studio Week Our fall design studio week will be Monday, October 19th through Friday, October 16th. We'll officially kick off the week on Monday, October 19th from 9:30-11:00 AM [required for Principals + PL Quarterbacks]. We strongly suggest that you include others on your leadership team in tasks throughout the week to help ensure that PL implementation is distributed across all leaders on campus. If you have any questions about who on your team might be a good fit to support throughout the week, please reach out or join the PL monthly office hours to ask. Each team will receive a personalized team work plan that will include must dos and may dos such as differentiated team time, QB led work time, check-ins with PL coach, new learning, and individual wayfinding time. Quarterbacks, onboarding will take place on October 14th from 2:00-3:30 PM. We'll provide you with a sneak peek of the tasks to help you calendar out the week and block off time with your team! Google Cloud Conference | October 24th, 9:00 - 11:15 AM Join us for a half-day of live webinars on a diverse range of digital tools ranging from Beyond Basics with Google Docs to Google Slides & Pear Deck. These webinars will be presented by FriEDTechnology and supported by the PDL and PL departments. Sessions will happen during 2 blocks of time during the day, and participants will be able to choose between two sessions at a given time. This opportunity is open to the first 800 participants in Dallas ISD who register. All dates have been confirmed with calendar invites to your QB + Principal. Dates and links to every tour are now live at www.thepltoolbox.com/tours. Feel free to share this link [or the direct Eventbrite link] on your campus website and/or when folks reach out who want to virtually visit your campus. To help lighten the lift of hosting, the PL team will continue to manage registration for each tour and will support each campus with hosting the virtual tour. Thanks for working with us during Support Meetings to finalize the artwork for your campus retractable banner! We had a request to print in Spanish as well, so we're working with Translation Services now. Please expect one last final proof review via email with both the English and Spanish version. Once your campus approves the final proof, it will be sent to Graphics for printing. Banners will be delivered directly to your campus!
