Welcome to the December edition of the PL Lighthouse! 
This monthly email blast and webpage has been designed to serve much like a lighthouse, to serve as a way forward and help in navigating through the busy school year. Nothing else speaks of safety in the face of adversity and challenge quite like the lighthouse. 

Design Studio Thursday, December 6th!
We’re looking forward to seeing teams Thursday, December 6th for Design Studio from 8:30 AM- 4:00 PM at Edison Learning Center (2940 Singleton Blvd, Dallas, TX 75212)! We’ll be in rooms off the J-hall throughout the day, but the PL cohort home base will be room J-116 (same as September). When you arrive, please get settled in J-116 and be ready to begin in the auditorium at 8:30AM.

As you'll see on the agenda, we have a lot of partners (Google, Texas Tech University, LEAP Innovations, SchoolWorks, Grand Prairie ISD, and Lancaster ISD) who will be joining us on Thursday and some exciting surprises to share with the group! 

Just a reminder that during lunch we’ll be hosting our third annual holiday baking competition! We invite each team to bring one dessert dish to compete with. Curious on last year’s competition? MAP Testing
During Design Studio on Thursday, we'll be sharing out the revised MAP testing schedule and more details. 

Teacher Emails 
​We need your help to collect emails of teachers at all PL cohort and emerging schools. We will use these emails to send exciting opportunities (Book Clubs, Edcamp Personalize DISD, etc.) directly to teachers so you don’t have to. [PAST DUE Action Item] Please update your campus information on the spreadsheet here no later than Friday, December 14th.
