It's time to earn your Google Level 1 and 2 Certification!
Join us virtually this summer to earn your Level 1 and Level 2 Certification from Google. You will have  1 week to complete the course + take the certification exam. This opportunity is open to teachers and leaders in Dallas ISD. 
LEVEL 1
The friEdTechnology 12-hour Level 1 online and on-demand educator program will prepare educators for the Google Level 1 Certification through a series of fun and meaningful challenges. During completion of these hands-on challenges, educators will create products that simulate relevant work they will be able to use in their positions as educators. This course is designed for educators who are proficient in the G Suite tools and who want to achieve Level 1 Certification. This course includes a voucher for the Google Level 1 Exam which is required to attain official certification. This is a rich and varied online experience that will help teachers learn to meaningfully integrate Google tools into their instruction.

​​LEVEL 2
*You must already hold a Level 1 certification in order to register.

The friEdTechnology 12-hour Level 2 educator program will prepare educators for the Level 2 Google Certification through a series of fun and meaningful challenges. During completion of these hands-on challenges, educators will create products that simulate relevant work they will be able to use in their positions as educators and take their Google learning beyond the core suite. This course is designed for educators who have completed the Level 1 course and have attained their Google Educator Level 1 certification. This course includes a voucher for the Google Level 2 Exam which is required to attain official certification. 

We will be monitoring Level 2 registration to make sure that you have submitted your Level 1 Google Certification Certificate by submitting it at www.thepltoolbox.com/googlecert.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Will there be other opportunities this fall to earn Level 1 or 2 certification?

As of now, we cannot guarantee that these opportunities will be offered again in the fall so we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity this summer.

Do I have to have my Level 1 certification to sign up for Level 2 course?
​
You must be already hold a Level 1 certification and have submitted it here.

The course I am interested in enrolling in is sold out. What happens if I join the waitlist? 
Please join the waitlist! We're using this to help us gauge interest and request additional spots to accommodate interest. 
We'll continue to release tickets as we confirm additional spots.

Can I attend if I'm not working at a current PL, MIZ, or VILs, RBL campus? 
Yes, if you are a current teacher or leader in Dallas ISD you are able to attend the trainings.

Will we receive PD hours for completing this course?

All educators who complete the course will earn CPE credit in Cornerstone after completion.
