It's time to take your Googliness to the next level!
Join us Saturday, February 23rd, to learn how to better leverage G Suite for Education. Throughout the day participants will have choice in sessions designed for Google beginners to advanced practitioners.  This opportunity is open only to the first 200 teachers and leaders at current personalized learning, Math Innovation Zones, and Verizon Innovative Learning schools in Dallas ISD.

Necessary Information

Who: teachers and leaders who are currently at the following schools:
  • Personalized Learning- Botello, Chapel Hill, Rogers, Zaragoza, PL Prep, Thelma Richardson, Jack Lowe, Marsh, Ignite, and IDEA.
  • Math Innovation Zones- Comstock, Cowart, Gonzalez, Greiner, Henderson, Salazar and Stockard.
  • Verizon Innovative Learning- Atwell, Cary, Lang, Medrano, and Quintanilla.
What: A one-day event with sessions designed for Google beginners to advanced practitioners. Sessions will be led from our partners at FriEDtechnology. 
When: Saturday, February 23rd from 9:00AM- 3:00PM.
Where: North Dallas High School, 3120 North Haskell Avenue, Dallas, TX 75204. 

Why: To help educators leverage G Suite for Education (Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms, Classroom etc.) to better meet the needs and interest of all kids.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Will I be able to earn district professional development credit hours for attending? 

Yes, we'll manually enter participants and award credit via Cornerstone following the event.

Will we find out what sessions will be offered before the event?
Yes, we'll share final details and all sessions mid-February.

What if I can only attend for part of the day? 

We ask that you not register unless you can commit to the entire day.

Do I need to have any prior knowledge of or practice with G Suite for Education to attend?
No, there will be sessions for all users (beginners to advanced practitioners). 


What do I need to do/bring with me when attending? 
An open mind, excitement, a laptop, headphones, and a charger for your device.

Can I attend if I'm not working at a current PL, MIZ, or VILs campus? 
At this time, we cannot accommodate educators outside of these cohorts. Be on the look out for events this summer that will be open to all teachers in Dallas ISD.


Will lunch be provided?
Yes!
